The World or the Word? A Letter Makes All the Difference.
Everyday, I’m blessed because Dad and I forgave each other. God keeps blessing me because of that obedience. I was given some amazing scripture books that were Dad’s. I’ve been in deep prayer asking for wisdom, discernment and understanding on some of the things I’ve been reading in the bible. I’ve found profound truth in this book, exact answers to questions I’ve asked the Lord.
This book is called the Studies in the Scriptures which were first written in the 1886. This writing today was inspired by the revelations in this book.

When you accept Yeshua as your Messiah, you are reconciled with God under the Grace Covenant. We are given an opportunity to become members of the Abrahamic Seed, which means we are giving opportunity to also bless the world through our relationship with the Father.
We are to bless the world through service to him. We are to live by the word and share the truth of God’s word and salvation through Yeshua, his blessed son.
When we accept Yeshua, we join with Christ in his covenant of self-sacrifice.
It is through self-sacrifice that we demonstrate our worthiness to share in the Christ’s glory.
The fact is, not one who accepts, at first, is able to fully comprehend either the roughness or narrowness of the way or the grandeur of the price to be attained at the further end.
Matthew 7: 14 “But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. “
As we grow, we get clarity. As we search the scriptures, pray and start our walk of obedience, God’s power works in us to strengthen us and enables us to overcome present obstacles and trials. He also reveals sin in us, we find ourselves repenting and changing. We also have a heart to love others through service. We long to share God’s love and word with others.
We must closely resemble the Lord, so closely follow his footsteps and his counsel that we will suffer for it. Yes, just as Yeshua suffered; as believers, his faithful servants will also suffer. We will and should suffer for the sake of the principles of truth (word) and righteousness.
In a fallen world, like we live in today, you will suffer for Christ if you are truly walking in his ways. When you speak the truth, you are in direct opposition with the world’s ways and its current influencer.
As we reject the world’s ways, for the sake of obedience to the doctrines, we are showing our devotion to our Redeemer who was called the “living word.”
We have the opportunity to walk in this narrow way of self-sacrifice for the sake of God’s truth. We have the privilege of suffering with Christ and his cause. But it will cost you what some call “earthly advantage” or even “earthly approval.”
Some of those who responded under the general call of salvation have failed to keep their covenant. They simply love the present world more. They have become overcharged with the cares or pleasures of this world that they have not only failed to walk in the Lords ways, but by choice they have thrown off the wedding garment of Christ’s righteousness. The door could very well and most likely be shut to them.
Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.
2 Peter 2:21 For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
Remember the gate is narrow and the flock is small. Taking grace for granted and being still of this world, is not a guarantee that even though one was invited, one will be let in.
Luke 9: 23 Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.
The faithful are being sealed, and separated. There are many who have chosen not to follow Yeshua in the covenant of self-sacrifice. Many have failed to deny themselves, to separate themselves from the unlawfulness of this world.
We are in the period of harvesting. Now is the time to make the Lord first in your life. Before the door is shut, it’s time to imitate Yeshua in all things. We must be leading people to Christ, talking about repentance of sin and the importance of not just believing in the gospel, but living it.
We must search for truth for ourselves and apply it. Let the Spirit lead you as you read the word of God. Our goal is to be one with Yeshua, as he is one with the Father and to imitate his life.
Mark 1: ….Jesus said…. “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
Is it the word or the world? One letter makes all the difference.
