Matthew 4: 19: 19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
Takeaway: To follow is much deeper than claiming Jesus as your personal savior. Even the word “belief” is a deeper statement than just verbally acknowledging. We are to study the word, teach others the truth, share ” God Wink” stories, share our testimonials and lead by living holy lives. 1 Peter 1:15: ” But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in ALL conduct.
We should have compassion for others, caring for people by caring for them physically and spiritually. The Father has a special place in his heart for the poor, the widows, the sick and those attacked by the enemy. He expects us to not only give words of encouragement, but to give our time, money and talents. Matthew 10: 8 states: “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give. “
Reminders On How to Live
Pray for those who persecute or hurt us. True Obedience= persecution.
Forgive, so that you are forgiven.
Be A Self-less Servant : In All Things Lead with Love.
Self-Sacrifice: Live A Life Worthy of the Price Paid for You.
Live a life: “approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed” (2 Timothy 2:15)
