Prophetic Dream:2023 Cattle Industry & Beef Price Warning!

My mom called and said “ I have to tell you my dream, but it was gruesome, see what you think it means.”

Dream: She was walking a calf and all of the sudden it collapsed. She tried to pet it and when she did, the head fell off and rolled into a ditch. She screamed for help. Everyone asked what happened. She did not know but everyone was freaked out because there was no blood at all in the calf. It was as if the calf never had blood running through its veins. 

I was unsure if the dream was symbolic or had a personal application. But this morning I was woken up at 5:00am. In my thoughts I heard, “ The dream was literal Shea.”

I was pulled out of bed to do research on the cattle and beef industry. In the last few days and past week lots has been posted.

Expect huge impacts from the drought, feeder costs, hay and corn costs, lighter cows & calves and from cow slaughters being way up. We have had the  highest rate of heifer slaughters in first half of the year since 2004. Prepare, there will be limited future heifers, 2023 will be very difficult in beef industry. Replacement  heifers ( calves) are at the lowest point since 1973.

Due to drought Texas Ranchers have sold heifers to other states.

Ranchers warning: Hold unto young calves there will be record high prices on future heifers. Do what it takes to take special care of your calves.

Consumer Warning: Expect much higher, ridiculous beef prices over next few years: restaurant prices for Hamburgers will go to 25.00 or higher. Expect to pay over $60.00 for a filet. Buy a cow now directly from a rancher, consider splitting one with your neighbors- stock up now. 

Start now eating vegetarian and plant based. Get your body accustomed to other types of proteins and foods. A plant based lifestyle is one of the healthiest. With food supply shortages, I suspect that we will have to eat differently.

I have felt strong lately that God not only cured my severe allergies with a plant based diet, but he was preparing my family for a major hit to the meat industry that will cause a shock to the meat eating population.

 Stock up on the meat you want now, and start incorporating meatless Monday’s into your weekly meal planning.  You should explore new plant based recipes weekly. You will need to get creative soon, supplies on much will be scarce. Prepping a bit is not crazy; it’s smart. 

The weird part of the dream was the lack of blood. Blood in the Bible is life. Expect the life to be sucked out of the cattle business and cattle. This will impact ranchers and consumers for longer than we are comfortable.
