Perspective of A Layover by Shea Brewer

Garden time, especially when I’m alone, is quiet time, quiet enough that the small still voice can be heard. Still in my PJ’s with bare feet in the dirt, I  was mindlessly picking  straggler weeds when a conversational thought flowed in.   In the midst of picking weeds, my thoughts began to speak to me. ” You are going to have a layover. So prepare for a layover. Now, with airplane travel, there are two ways to look at a layover. You can look at it as a meaningless and exhausting timewaster that delays your final destination.   Or a layover can be a blessing, it’s a time to…

Holiness, Purity and Connection to Anger

We are all striving for holiness and purity. The two are uniquely tied together, co-dependent upon each other. Holiness is reached by the mind. Holiness is revealed to you by the Father. You know what he wants you to do and the goal is to do it. Purity is however attained by way of our heart. To attain purity, we must get rid of all anger. You must get rid of all anger towards: YHWH ( G-d), life trauma, people and yourself. All anger must be purified from the heart before a holy life pursuit can be put fully into action. Anger must be replaced with things like: love, patience,…

Seeing 333 Everywhere: The Meaning of 333

Peering out the car window onto the winter scenes of majestic white, was exactly what my spirit needed in December. For months there was rumors that there was going to be a lay off at work. In markets where there was too many reps, there would be eliminations. My manager alluded using phrases like ” hope for the best but prepare for the worst.” My spirit knew that I could very possibly be laid off after 12 years. I could not help but think about this on our trip. I was not upset about the idea of being laid off, but the uncertainty of not knowing how the scheduled call…

Overcome or Be Overcame by Shea Brewer

Each time you read a book in the bible, something different stands out as the Spirit of Wisdom highlights new passages as part of your teaching or awakening process. While reading Revelations this morning, I’ve noticed a word repeatedly throughout this book: the words ” OVERCOME” and “OVERCAME.” Overcome means to succeed in dealing with a problem or difficulty. It also means to defeat or prevail over an opponent. Who is the opponent that brings problems? Satan. He tries us constantly, wanting us to stumble in our faith. He tempts us through worldly desires that bring forth sin like: bad habits, ambition, power, perversions, materialism, pride, greed, lusts, hatred, anger,…

    Good Health Scriptures & Declarations

Proverbs 18:21 says that there is death and life in the power of the tongue. When we are positive, scriptural and speak good over our health, we will benefit. The opposite is true if we are negative. We must be so careful on all words we speak. Innocently, our negative words can quickly become curses on us or others. Without thinking, we might say…. “I’m sick.” “My head hurts terrible. ” “My leg hurts.” These are curse statements over our bodies. Remember, that it is always the will of the Father to heal. He loves you. When our children are sick, what parent would not remove the sickness if we…

Conquering Fear: Declare Truth! By Shea Brewer

Romans 10:17 says that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ( YHWH). We must stand on the word as truth. The word is our shield and our sword against the attacks of the enemy. The word builds our faith and keeps the enemy from effecting us. When our faith is solid; then fear and anxiety have no power over us. Below are scriptures for you to read out loud, followed by a declaration statement of truth to read out loud with confidence. The truth covers any lie the enemy has planted in your mind which effects your emotions. If demons feed on fear and faith…

September 23, 2017: Yom Kippur & Perhaps A Prophetic Sign in the Sky

On August 21, 2017, the day of the solar eclipse which crossed  much of America, a heavy exhaustion came over me, so strong that I felt I had no other choice but to take a nap.  I quickly went into a deep sleep. In a dream, I saw Yahshua ( Jesus). He was wearing a medal armor as if he was prepared for war. Behind the armor was bright red fabric. I could not make out his face, but a glowing bright light radiated from his face. His hair was long, wavy and dark, flowing past his shoulders. I could only see the top portion of his body. I have only…

    Feeling Off? By Shea Brewer

Sometimes we just feel “off, ” and we can’t put our finger on what’s wrong. Maybe we’re moody, negative, agitated or impatient. It maybe time to retreat or rest as Yahshua did.  It may also be a time to rebuke the enemy or both. When you retreat: Call on the Father, thank, praise and just talk to Him as you would a friend. He knows what you need before you ever say a word, but He longs to hear from you, just as any friend would.   Busyness and stress distracts you from healing and hearing the Spirit which will guide you. It also drowns out your ability to see the blessings in your life. Make a list of all the things you are…

Quiet, Listen, Journal….Prayer for Hurricane…Truth lesson

As part of my time with Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey ( God) , I’ve been spending time being very quiet  and writing down my thoughts as they pour out.  Most of the time when I do this, I’m barely awake in kind of that groggy mindset to wake up. The best part is that after I am done, I re-read what I wrote and I’m often surprised by the words, the language and the message. It’s amazing to see what pours out and so cool to feel that the Spirit of Truth had a word for me. I encourage each of you to spend time in reflection, meditating on His love and promises.…

    Dumpster Diving by Shea Brewer

While waiting in line for donuts in our car, a huge black crow was sitting and watching the dumpster from the fence line. He watched as the other birds dipped down into the dumpster. He sat for a second on the edge of the dumpster, then he dove in spreading his massive black wings to retrieve a big piece of food and fly off. Soon he returned, with another big black crow.  Now there were two. Their presence dominated the dumpster, all the other little birds scattered at their intimidation. Just like these birds of prey, demons love to dumpster dive on the trash of our lives, the sin, the bitterness and…
