Frequently, I listen to the Christian Satellite Network, listening to great Pastors like Mike Kestler on his radio show called, To Every Man An Answer.
To Every Man an Answer is a live call-in radio program that answers your questions about the Bible and the Christian faith. It airs Monday-Friday at 3:05 PM (PT) / 6:05 PM (ET) on CSN International.

It’s a great show that I listen to when I go pick up my daughter from her Christian preschool. Problem is that when I pick her up, I always park near the dumpster in the back of the church; it’s easier. But when I get near the trash, the radio message gets fuzzy, unclear and I get frustrated because I miss all the great biblical insight.
So many times, I have to back my SUV until I get clear reception. One day, I noticed that I got crystal clear reception when I was perfectly lined up with the cross that sits on the top of the building.
We all get overwhelmed with the static noise in our life; which comes when we are: unsure, stressed, overwhelmed, confused. It’s so easy to get so self absorbed with our own problems and depression, that we take our focus off the one source that gives us clear reception. When we back-up and aline our thoughts, prayers and focus on Christ, and we take it off the “trash” in our lives, we receive clarity and calmness. This kind of clarity and calmness can only come from Christ. God is our one true source of strength and support. He can give you the clear reception that you need.
So if your life seems like a bunch of static noise, if you feel like you need clarity, need direction or if you just feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders, stop what you are doing and tap into your highest frequency, the Lord. Start today with consistent prayer and study of the word–it’s a habit worth keeping.
Today’s Scriptures:
- Mat 6:31-33 “Our loving heavenly Father knows what we need even before we ask
- Ps 91:15 “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.”
- Jn 16:24……. “Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”
- Mt 21:22………”…whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
- Jer 33:3……… “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things…”
Thoughts & Reflection Today:
1. Have you been unsure in a certain area of your life or frustrated? Pray to God about it.
2. Are you tapping into your source on all things? Or enough? What can you do about it?
(Make an appointment with yourself to pray everyday at the same time. Maybe it’s on the way to work or dropping off the kids. Try praying outloud to the Lord. You’ll be amazed out how more connected you feel!)
3. Is there someone in your life that seems to be in a state of static? Maybe confused, lost, stressed, misdirected? Pray that God help guide them, help them. Put them on your prayer list for the next 30 days. Watch God work.
4. If you don’t go to church, if you’re not in a bible study…I challenge you to go to http://www.csnradio.com/,
listen in on the radio show, find a Pastor that you like his style of sermon—get tapped into the Lord in some fashion.
Daily connection is key to clarity.
