Read Entire Bible in 2015- Want to Start A Quest for Truth this Year?
Hello All…
If you are interested in reading the entire bible this year with me, please make a comment or email me. We will make comments… ask questions through this blog. I’m looking for a conference call for occasional QA and discussions. If you would like to set up a private face-book page just for us too…We can do that.
We will have to commit to our reading time, I suggest early in the morning. King David always started his day off early in prayer. Time with God in the stillness of the morning is a great way to start your day. (Bible time and prayer time.) On the days life is hectic, you’ll have to make up the reading on your different days so that you can keep up with the group.
We will be reading from a One Year NLT. I bought the one year study bible with leather and added my name so kids would have it for heirloom one day. But there are cheaper versions and all one year NLT versions have same daily readings. I bought mine at the Christian book store. Go ahead and buy now because on the 16th we all need to be on January 16th date for our launch!
I just got this blog updated- finally someone could fix it so I can use the blog again.
What: NLT ONE YEAR BIBLE ( Dated)
Officially Starting: Friday January 16th.
I already read January 1st and it’s super easy to read. It takes maybe 15 minutes to read, maybe. I took notes in a journal and in my bible, and I flew through it with cup of coffee in hand. Please get a piece of paper to keep in your bible and write names of people that you need to pray for…as a reminder! This reading time will be followed up with prayers to the Lord or started that way- your choice.
We must leave behind what we thought we knew, what preachers told us, what we learned from our families and let the Holy Spirit give us wisdom, understanding and enlightenment as we read. This will be the year that God speaks to you through his living Word. Many have lost their lives so that we could have this book in our hands…so we will honor with each word we absorb. We give thanks to God for those souls who fought for the un-scrubbed truth in our bibles.
