- Luke 13: 3: “I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
Life Application: When you read scriptures around Luke 13: 3, you see that everyone is a sinner and no sin is worse than others. We should not measure our own sins against those of others, thinking we are better than or safer. He goes onto to say that he will leave us alone, for a time, allowing us time to repent, change and love him. Then, when that time is over, those who did not bear fruit will perish.
- Pray: Father, please bring forth all the sins of my life so that I may repent. I pray that you will give me your strength to overcome all temptation and worldly desire. Give me the willpower to be obedient to you in all things.
- As you sin, repent immediately. Think of this as an immediate car washing. This could be with impure thoughts, anger outbursts, irritation etc. If you are struggling to overcome your sin alone, seek support and help.
